US markets reversed a negative opening to close on average +0.5% yesterday night with health care stocks led the recovery after US lower house passed the health care bill. Asia bourses were mixed for the day with Nikkei closed -0.47%, SSE -0.70% and HSI +0.26%. STI managed to move back above 2,900 after yesterday sold down as investors bargain hunt the blue chips with bank, offshore/marine and property stocks leading the buying up. A positive opening from European bourses also lifted the sentiment.
