US markets reversal earlier loss due to the Greece's debt issue and closed positive. Asia bourses were muted as investors taking off profit and maintain cautious. Nikkei closed -0.32%, SSE -0.53% and HSI -0.98%. STI though most part of the day traded in negative region but managed to close slight positive with blue chips giving mixed performance. The Jardine group of stocks, Singtel and Offshore/Marine stocks were cushioning the drop while commodity and property stocks were under selling pressure. Positive DJ future and European markets also gave STI some bargain hunting sentiment.
