FTSE STI closed 3,002.62, up 14.13 points or +0.47% with a total volume of 2.05b and a total value of S$1.53b. Total number of advance vs decline was 345 vs 199. Of the 30 component index stocks, 20 closed positive, 6 closed negative and 4 remained unchanged. The top 5 gainer component stocks were :-

US markets up at least 0.50% last Friday after news of Greece will get bailout from EU and IMF. Asia bourses took the cue and opened in the positive but with profit taking kicking in, ended mixed with Nikkei closed +2.30%, SSE -0.47% and HSI +1.61%. STI managed to move back above 3,000 level and closed 3,002.62 up 0.47% with a volume higher than last Friday. Offshore/Marine stocks were leading the rally. Investors will be looking at more Corporate earnings this week and also the FOMC decision ( 27th - 28th April ) on the interest rate.
