1. WALL STREET: Stocks rose on late rally despite disappointing economic data as gains in EUR after successful Spanish bond auction helped lift companies that export to Europe. Gains came despite unexpected rise in weekly jobless claims, bigger-than-expected drop in Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia June index of business activity for factory operators in Mid-Atlantic area, and smaller-than-expected increase in Conference Board's index of leading economic indicators.
