US markets up at least 2% when investors were upbeat on the corporate earning despite the gloom on the economic data. Asian bourses took the cue and traded in the positive region for the day with Nikkei closed +2.28%, SSE +0.38% and HSI +1.10%. STI managed to close +0.60% with 19 out of the 30 index stocks closed in the positive. Investors also waiting for the outcome of the European stress tests result which will be released later today.
