US markets were closed yesterday but Europe markets were positive after ECB pledged to act.  Asian bourses were mixed for the day with mostly in the red.  Nikkei +0.23%, SSE -0.34% and HSI -0.08%.  STI was down 0.27% in those typical thin volume and value day.  12 of the 30 index stocks posted gain.

Not much of market lead caused Asian bourses to close mostly down as profit taking kicked in.  Most were anticipating of a global markets pull back coming soon too.  Gold price broke down today and if US markets could not scale new high, correction should be coming soon.

STI in line with most regional bourses were in the red for the day as short-term and day traders and punters all closing positions either taking profit or cut loss.  Bargain hunting was also kept to minimum.  For those short-term investors or traders, there might be one more chance to get out (market rally on the last day of the month) and should miss that, prepare to stomach for another 1.5 to 2 months times.
