  1. Very nice returns you got there. One question i like to pose to you. What's the value of tracking the holding cost ? Assuming return and absolute cost the same for 2 counters. A counter that you hold for 2 years vs one that you hold 5 years ?

    1. hi, i not quite sure what's your question is about. the one that i update at the end of every month is just tracking how the portfolio performs month-from-month. at the end of the year i will have another detail write up of performance of each of the individual stock like annualized return. the stocks in my portfolio all have different holding period, the longest is 2006 and the latest (excluding those in Strategic section) is this year.

    2. Hi ccloh, you have a column "Holding Price". Why do you have it. Drives you on anything ? :)

    3. holding price is the price that i bought or average buy price or price factoring in right issue etc. any strong reason why i should not have it ??.
to me the updating of the portfolio performance is just an archive of my investing journey, not meant to try to compete with others to determine who is the best investor.
