Following a drop in the US markets yesterday, STI together with other Asian bourses except Taiwan closed in the negative. Investors are cautious on tonight outcome of the House of Representatives voting for the US$700b revised rescue package. With a falling crude oil price, offshore and marine stocks were under heavy selling pressure.
