With a positive closed for US markets on Friday night, STI was able to continue the sentiment where it left off last Friday and firmed up. However, it met with resistance at the 1,900 level. The rest of the Asia bourses ( Nikkei was closed for the day ) less Shanghai all managed to firm up.
