Even though US markets closed flat prior to the US Presidential election and Nikkei closed with a +6%, STI and HSI still close in the red. Investors are starting to cashing out to lock in profit for the recent mini-rally while staying cautious on the outcome of the US Presidential election. A point to note on today trading volume and value was that board market was up and mostly penny stocks play. Blue chips mostly trading sideway. This is quite a worrying signal given that blue chips look like tired and ready for a pull-back and now is penny play.
