Despite US markets closed on the positive side yesterday night due to the US Congress approved of the US$14b automaker bailout, Asia bourses still remain cautious today as it now required the Senate to pass the deal. Nikkei closed +0.70% and HSI close +0.2% but STI closed down 1.5%. Investors chose to take profit from recent rally for the outcome of the automaker bailout.
