US markets closed negative yesterday in a last hour selling down due to profit taking. Asia bourses mostly remained cautious for the day with Nikkei closed +3.18%, HSI -0.76% and SSE +3.02%. STI opened down but managed to move to positive region for a brief session and soon fell back to negative region when investors taking out profit. Bank and property stocks led the drop but commodity stocks bucked the trend. Despite a slightly bullish sentiment, investors still remain very cautious about the current rebound.
