US markets rallied at least 2% yesterday due to better than expected economic data. Asia bourses cheered the rally with positive opening. Nikkei closed +0.29%, HSI +1.86% and SSE +0.24%. STI rallied mainly led by bank, property, offshore/marine and commodity counters. SIA was down 4.86% when it was reported a drop in passenger load and cargo shipment and analyst's downgrade. Investors will be waiting for today US FOMC announcement to say what other measures US Fed will use to save the ailing US economy.
