US markets fell last Friday and DJI is very close to the 7,000 level and many expecting it to drop to 6,000 level soon. Asia bourses opened with a bearish sentiment for today trading. Nikkei closed -3.81%, HSI -3.86% but SSE bucked the trend with +0.51%. HSBC announced its result today together with rights issue and that drag the banking stocks around Asia. STI down 3.85% with banking stocks leading the fall. Investors are nervous of further bad news from banks now.
