US markets closed mixed last Friday despite a worse than expected unemployment rate of 8.1%. Asia bourses opened mainly lower for today as investors worried of when US economy can recover given the poor unemployment rate and the forever bailout news of US financial sectors. Nikkei closed -1.21%, HSI -4.84% and SSE -3.39%. STI broke the Oct 08 intra-day low of 1,473 and closed with new low since Oct 08 at 1,456.95; down 3.71%. Board market was under selling pressure for the day.
