US markets did a last minute reversed despite a weak industrial production data. Asia bourses took the cue and were mixed for the day. Nikkei closed +0.14% and HSI -0.55%. China reported its 1QFY09 GDP and came in as 6.1% when market poll 6.0%. STI also reversed earlier gain and closed 0.75% down. Trading volume was high due to penny stocks play.
