US markets recovered at least 1% yesterday night after comment from Treasury Secretary indicated that the stress tests will show most of the 19 biggest US banks have enough capital. Asia markets however didn't react well with the rebound. Most opened weak and closed down. Nikkei closed +0.18%, HSI -2.66% and SSE -2.94%. STI traded negative throughout the days with investors selling down the blue chips. Bank and Property stocks led the fall.
