US markets retreated last Friday after profit taking. Asia bourses reacted to it with most opened in the negative. Nikkei closed -2.44%, SSE closed +0.28% and HSI closed +1.38%. Asia bourses reversed the loss in the morning in the afternoon session when India market rallied due to ruling party won the election and a very welcome sentiment for the market. Rest of the Asia bourses folllowed the sentiment and closed in the positive. STI led by SingTel and the bank stocks to recover from early loss to register a +1.55% close.
