US markets fell yesterday night despite a better Jobless Claims data as investors were worried about the recovery of the economy and S&P potentially downgrade of UK economy. Asia bourses started off continue yesterday drop with Nikkei closed -0.41%, SSE -0.50% and HSI -0.80%. STI however buck the trend after US future showing a potentially rebound and Europe markets opened in the green. Investors snap up the battled down blue chips to enable STI closed +1.55%; almost day high.
