With US markets closed last night, Asia bourses mostly traded in narrow range in the morning half but soon turn down in the afternoon session when Europe markets opened in the negative. Nikkei closed -0.39%, SSE -0.82% and HSI -0.76%. STI gave up earlier gain and closed -1.26% with most of the blue chips under selling pressure as investors see no incentive in bargain hunting with important economic data in the next few days for US. Tonight consumer confident, home sales and GDP in later part of the week.
