US markets rallied yesterday night when consumer confident reported a better than expected reading. Asia bourses reacted to the rallied with a positive open. Nikkei closed +1.37%, SSE +1.71% and HSI +5.26%. STI despite the news of Genting boss selling off 9% stake to raise fund which caused the share price to drop 17.92% and GoldenAgr announcement of rights isssue which fell 5.56% still manage to record a high volume and break the 2,300 level with property stocks leading the rally.
