US markets slided yesterday night when US reported a bigger deficit in May as compared to April and the auction of the treasurey bill was rather plain. Investors were concern of inflation. Asia bourses were mixed with US markets failed to provide any strong direction. Nikkei closed -0.10%, SSE -0.67% and HSI +0.03%. STI opened positive but soon the buying interest worn off and investors chose to take profit that caused STI to close -0.39%.
