US markets were mixed last Friday as investors focus their attention on inflation. With a lacking of direction, Asia bourses were mostly down for the day except for SSE. Nikkei closed -0.95%, SSE +1.67% and HSI -2.07%. STI were traded in the red for the whole day with investors selling off blue chips of bank, property and offshore/marine. Volume was thin though. Investors are now looking at US for direction.
