US markets fell at least 2% after news of possible second stimulus package as that worried investors about the economy is not recovering as expected. Asia bourses reacted to the drop with a selling days. Nikk ei closed -2.35%, SSE -0.28% and HSI -0.79%. STI was down 0.55% with investors selling property and offshore/marine stocks and switching to defensive counters. Investors are cautious ahead of tonight Alcoa's earnings in general as can seen from the thin volume and switching from higher beta stocks to more defensive stocks.
