US markets advanced at least 1% after US Federal Reserve maintained near 0% interest rate and positive comment from US Fed Chief about US economy. Asia bourses cheered with indices trading in positive region for the day. Nikkei closed +0.79%, SSE +0.89% ( reversed earlier loss ) and HSI +2.09%. STI maintained above 2,600 level throughout the day and closed +1.67% with bank, commodity, property and offshore/marine counters leading the rally. SIA was the heavy loser after it gone XA. Investors will be looking at tonight US retail sales data.
