US markets continued to move up after a better than expected economy growth contraction. Asia bourses were mixed for the day ahead of tonight US personal income and spending and over the weekend. Nikkei closed +0.57% ahead over the weekend election whereby most expecting the opposition party to win the election. SSE fell -2.90% as valuation adjustment continued. HSI tracking SSE performance closed -0.71%. STI swung between positive and negative region in a very narrow range of not more than 15 points. With European markets opened in the green coupled with positive DJ future, STI managed to close +0.02% with mixed performance from the blue chips. Investors are looking at tonight US personal income/spending to determine the health of the economy.
