US markets were mixed last Friday. Asia bourses mostly sold down for the day even Nikkei which opened in the positive region after the DPJ won the election breaking the LDP 50 years of stronghold also ended in the red. SSE continued the drop with a 6.75% drop and that dragged down the sentiment of Asia bourses. Nikkei closed -0.40%, SSE -6.75% and HSI -1.86%. STI opened in the positive but the sentiment soon gave way when SSE sank again. Investors were selling off the blue chips that caused STI to close -1.42% following sentiment with other Asia bourses.
