US markets continue to move up yesterday night after the beige book indicated that US economy showed more signs of stabilization in recent months. Asia bourses took the cue and traded on the positive region for the day except for SSE which closed in the negative. Nikkei closed +1.95%, SSE -0.73% and HSI +1.05%. STI hit the 2,700 level mark before lunch but retreat from that in the afternoon section when investors took profit.
