US markets fell yesterday night after Shanghai market fell 6% on the day. Asia bourses were able to rebound from yesterday drop today with Nikkei closed +0.36%, SSE +0.60% and HSI +0.75%. STI were trading above the 2,600 level until European markets and future turned negative and trimmed its gain to close just +0.14% still slightly below the 2,600 level. The reason for European markets dropped into the red after opening in the positive region was UK reported a sub 50 PMI figure with expectation at 51.5. Investors will be looking at tonight US markets for direction and ability for SSE to reverse the downtrend.
