US markets extended the fall yesterday night with a mixed economic data; jobless claim better than expected but home sales dropped. Asia bourses took the cue and traded in negative region for the day. Nikkei closed -2.64% after Nomura announcing selling shares to raise capital. SSE closed -0.52% and HSI -0.13%. STI opened down but managed to rebound from its intra-day low with banks leading the rebound but still closed -0.17%.
