US markets were closed yesterday but Europe markets rallied that gave Asia bourses some bullish sentiment to continue moving up for the day. Nikkei closed +0.70%, SSE +1.71% and HSI +2.14%. STI in the morning was directionless and with profit taking caused it to shift down to negative region but with positive closing from other Asia bourses, positive opening of European markets and DJ future, it reversed the earlier loss and closed +0.64% with property stocks leading the rally. Commodity stocks also showing sign of moving up while offshore/marine could be the next in line to do so. Investors will be looking at tonight how US markets will perform.
