US markets retreated last Friday after result of BoA and GE. Though both earnings beat market expectation but the amount of loss incurred being some worries to the market. Asia bourses were mainly rangebound today while awaiting for more corporate earnings to be announced this week. Nikkei closed -0.21% recover from earlier loss, SSE opened in the negative but closed +2.07% and HSI also opened negative but closed +1.23%. STI opened fell to near 2,680; the lower range of the consolidation phase and rebound to close +0.13% with blue chips performing mixed. Investors are looking at earnings from Apple, Yahoo and Microsoft as the earning get into full swing. On the local front, A-Reit, CapitaMall, KepCorp, Kepland, and CapitaComm are the few starting the earning season into full swing this week.
