1. WALL STREET: Stocks gained on improving sign in labor market, rising October retail sales. Filings for jobless benefits declined to lowest level in 10 months last week ahead of heavily watched October nonfarm payrolls report. Consumer firms helped by 1.8% gain for retail sales in October. Dow gained 2.1%, Nasdaq +2.4%
