US markets were mixed yesterday with investors concerned and cautious about the economy recovery, awaiting for US Fed decision on interest rate and their comment on US economy and at the same time Warren Buffett bought into the railway stock gave the market a boost. Asia bourses were traded in the positive region for the day within a tight range. Nikkei closed +0.42%, SSE +0.46% and HSI +1.76%. STI with the buying of blue chips lifted STI to close +1.03% in a thin volume day. The positive DJ future and European market also firm up STI. Investors expect US Fed to maintain interest rate and will be closely watch on what US Fed comment on the US economy recovery and their continuous aids in recovery.
