US markets recovered to close in the positive yesterday night with financial and tech stocks leading the rebound. Asia bourses relatively still weak with Nikkei closed -1.42%, SSE +0.454% and HSI -0.19%. STI closed -0.55% with investors taking profit and always cautious of the Greece default issue. A positive European opening attracted some last minute buying up in STI to cause it to close above intra-day low. Investors will be looking at how the effect of Greece's default issue could affect the global economy recovery.
