US markets pulled back yesterday night after a mixture of economic data and also investors awaiting for US Fed decision on rate and outlook of its policy towards the economy recovery tonight. Would be expecting no change in interest rate but would concern of US Fed's policy towards its support for the economy recovery. Asia bourses initially opened in the positive but soon closed mostly in the red as investors stay sideline ahead of the decision. Nikkei closed +0.93%, SSE -0.59% and HSI -0.93%. STI swinging between positive and negative region around the 2,800 level for the day but last minute buying caused the index to close at intra-day high and a new index high for 2009.
