US markets pull back around 1% yesterday night after a weak consumer spending and also rebound of USD. Asia bourses took the cue and traded in the negative region for the day. Nikkei closed -1.34%, SSE -1.73% and HSI -1.45%. STI trading between the 2,800 level and closed at 2,797.21 down 0.30% in a slightly higher volume than past days as investors were focusing on the S-Shares mainly due to the spill over effect of the dual listing in HSI.
