US markets posted another positive closing after the employment situation whereby unemployment rate remained at 10.0%. Asia bourses took the cue and traded in the positive region for the day. Nikkei was closed for public holiday while SSE closed +0.52% and HSI +0.52%. STI closed +0.37% in line with other Asia bourses whereby small cap stocks outperformed the big blue. As investors remained cautious of chasing the already high price blue chips ahead of the earning season, focus were shifted to the small cap stocks. Alcoa will be releasing its earning tonight and investors will be focusing on corporate earnings for the moment.
