US markets rebounded yesterday night and Asia bourses took the cue and traded in the positive region in the day and mostly closed positive except HSI. Nikkei closed +1.61%, SSE +1.35% and HSI -0.15%. STI regained the 2,900 level with investors snapping up the blue chips following a good set of earnings from SPH yesterday. With more corporate earnings from US ( banks and tech companies ) market direction will in general be dictated by how well those set of results were.
