US markets closed down yesterday night and Asia bourses continued the sell down. Nikkei closed -0.71%, SSE -1.09% and HSI -0.38%. STI though opened positive but failed to hold on to the gain as margin call kicked in caused selling pressure which resulted STI to close -1.24% near the 2,700 level. Investors will be looking at tonight outcome of US Fed meeting, the re-appointment of US Fed Chief and Obama's detail plan of restructuring of the banking sector.
