US markets fell at least 1% last Friday after SEC wanted to charge Goldman Sach for CDO fraud.  China Government implemented property curb measures coupled with the ash cloud issue in Europe dampened the market sentiment and caused investors to sell.  Nikkei closed -1.74%, SSE -4.79% and HSI -2.10%.  STI surrendered the 3,000 level and closed down 46.26 points at 2,960.93 after hitting an intra-day low at 2,943.50.  Only 1 of the 30 index stocks managed to register a gain for the day while the rest were under selling pressure with airline stocks leading the drop due to the ash cloud issue.  A weak DJ future also caused investors to lock in profit for the recent run up and stay sideline until the situation become clearer.  This week more US corporate like Yahoo, Goldman Sach, etc will be releasing their earning and from Singapore side, Ascendasreit, CapitaMall Trust, KepCorp, etc are all schedule to announce their earning this week.
