US markets fell at least 1% yesterday night after concern of economy recovery after the weak unemployment data last Friday. Asia bourses however were mostly traded in the positive region with Nikkei closed +0.18%, SSE +0.09% and HSI +0.56%. STI was traded in the positive region for the day until the last minute closing with some heavy volume selling down of component index stocks like ST Engg, SembMar, CapitaMall, etc caused STI to close -0.19%. The market was holding steady in the green with comment of US Fed Chief assuring of US economy recovery but as European markets starting to drop further, investors were seen dumping stocks on close which cause the sudden drop.
