US markets were up at least 0.5% yesterday night rebound from last Friday drop with tech stocks leading the buying. However, investors still quite cautious on the recovery of the economy. Asian markets mostly closed in the positive following the surged in SSE but Nikkei bucked the trend closing in the red with -1.15%. SSE +2.15% and HSI +0.86%. STI was mostly flat as investors awaiting for more corporate earnings this week. After the market closed, Kepland reported a 2Q net profit of S$70M vs S$58.2M while other blue chips like KepCorp, CapitaComm trust and CapitaMall Trust will be dishing out the earnings this week.
