US markets closed down yesterday as investors still concern about how US Fed going to spur the economic growth.  Asian bourses were directionless for the early part of the day as most of the markets like Nikkei, SSE and HSI were closed for the day.  STI was relatively flat for most part of the day swinging between positive and negative until when European bourses opened and trading down at least 0.5% then the selling pressure came in.  Investors were being cautious and selling off for profit and wait for clearer direction.  Volume was more than 2 billion but mostly penny stocks play.  Singapore reported CPI of +3.3% this afternoon in line with expectation.
