US markets pulled back around 0.5% yesterday night with concerning about European growth offsetting M&A news. Asian bourses took the cue and traded in negative region for the day as investors taking off profit for the time being. Nikkei closed -1.12%, SSE -0.63% and HSI -1.03%. STI earlier part of the day hit another new intra-day height at 3,125.70 but with other regional bourses all closing red coupling with DJ future and European markets opening in the red, afternoon selling down caused the index to close -0.52% below the 3,100 level. Majority of the blue chips were down and interest for penny stocks ( focus for the past weeks ) also starting to tone down.
