US markets were up at least 0.5% yesterday night after a better than expected earning from Citigroup despite economic data showed that Sept industrial production dropped. Asian bourses took the cue and traded in positive region for the day. Nikkei closed +0.43%, SSE +1.58% and HSI +1.25%. STI resistance at 3,200 closed +0.35% in a very thin volume day as main focus still on GLP which it gained another 5% today after news that it will be added into the MSCI index from Nov onwards. Blue chips were mixed. Investors will be looking at more corporate earning this week.
