US markets closed mixed yesterday night despite a drop in the jobless claim that beat market expectation as investors staying cautious ahead of tonight unemployment rate data. After market closed, Aloca reported a set of result that beat market expectation. Asian bourses were mixed for the day. Nikkei closed -0.99% despite Japanese Government approved the stimulus plan, SSE closed +3.13% playing catch up for the past days that was closed for holiday and HSI closed +0.26%. STI earlier part of the day managed to move into positive region but with profit taking kicking in and investors maintained cautious ahead of the US job data, closed -0.42% with only 5 component stocks managed to close positive.
