US markets closed mixed yesterday night after last minute selling off eased gain on the markets.  No particular events relating to the selling off except perhaps profit taking.  US extension tax-cut deal will be going through final round of voting for approval tonight or later this week.  Whereas US Fed last meeting for this year starts today where investors will be looking at how US Fed going to spur economy growth and how to bring the unemployment rate down.  Asian bourses were mostly traded in the positive region with Nikkei closed +0.22%, SSE +0.14% and HSI +0.49%.  STI was not so fortunate as profit taking on closing caused index to drop to the negative zone and most of the activity today was on penny stocks.  At the moment, STI temporary fallen out of the uptrend channel and need further confirmation in the next few trading sessions.
