US markets closed positive of at least 0.5% yesterday night as worries over EU debt eased slightly.  Asian bourses took the cue to trade in the positive in the earlier part of the day but closed mixed.  Nikkei closed +0.95%, SSE -1.06% and HSI was closed for holiday.  STI rebounded in earlier part of the trading but soon fell and closed -0.52% after European bourses sank into red in the later part of the afternoon.  Greece's debt and Italian bond auction weighing on investors.  However, volume for the day was very thin with less than 1 billion as most investors are waiting sideline for clearer picture.
