US markets closed average around +2% yesterday night as sentiment over the EU debt issue eased after ECB pledged to increase war chest for the bailout funds.  Asian bourses took the cue also rebounded from yesterday sold down.  Nikkei closed +2.82%, SSE +0.91% and HSI +4.15%.  STI in line with regional bourses closed +2.70% rebound back above the 2,720 level with 27 of the index stocks registered positive closing led by banking stocks.  With issue over the EU debts starting to see some action by the authorities and end quarter window dressing round the corner, market might have potentially some more upside.  A level for STI to watch is the 2,750 level in which if it breaks above that, it will negate the past days selling down trend.

This week US also have couple of economic data like GDP and Personal Income which should determine strength of the US economy.  Furthermore, Greece's bailout is also on the mind of investors this week.
